Wide range of Isolon foams allows to fulfill many of general converters’ requirements. We can offer thin and dense Isolon 500 AV, very soft and low-weight Isolon 500 SV (EVA type), more resilient Isolon 500 AH and many other types for customer solutions in buoynancy, military, packaging or other industrial applications. Isolon 500 can be easily processed, and thanks to its high chemical resistance, can also be used in contact with cleaning agents and other corrosive substances.

Isolon foams have been used in the automobile manufacturing industry since 1985. Our light-weight, easy-to-convert products substitute many of rigid plastics, being applied on door and instrument panels for increased comfort factor, in chassis protection and wheelhouse covers for better thermal and sound insulation, in adhesive applications etc. We have been optimizing our products in emission rates and other factors year by year to comply with the tightened requirements of the automotive industry.

The relatively low weight of Isolon 500 also has a positive effect. A clear advantage in light construction concepts and a contribution to reduced fuel consumption and lower CO2 emissions make Isolon the sound solution for car manufacturers.

Isolon 500 FR (with flame retardant additives) meets the requirements of Russian State Standard GOST 30244-94, ISO 3795, ISO 1152 (in test method) and Automotive FMVSS 302. According to Russian GOST 25076-81 and ISО 3795-76 Isolon is allowed to be used in automotive industry.


The main functions of Isolon 500 for consumer goods include the provision of comfort, shock absorption, pressure distribution, thermal insulation and weight reduction. In addition, our foams are soft to touch, non-toxic, skin friendly, resistant to sweat, easy to clean and available in wide variety of colors.

Camping and insulation mats, insoles, body protectors, suitcases, rucksack padding, swimming suits or mouse padswear — this is just a short extract from the long list of products made of Isolon 500.

Isolon 500 has been used successfully in structures above and below the ground for almost 30 years. Building industry is one of the most significant consumer of Isolon foams. New building methods, strict requirements for thermal and sound insulation, need for safe and cost effective nature friendly solutions call for special materials, and Isolon 500 is the ideal choice in many cases.
There are two application mainstreams in building industry:
first of all, Isolon 500 is used for thermal insulation and sealing in buildings and technical installations;
secondly, Isolon 500 is widely spread as shock absorber in floor structures (impact sound insulation)
The applications are various, for example: air duct insulation, tunnel insulation, tube insulation, parquet and laminate underlay etc.


Isolon 500 is used as carrier material for adhesive tapes and applied in almost every sphere of our life. Due to the their flexibility and conformability, foam-based tapes are ideal for uneven surfaces and contours. This distinguishes foam-based tapes from those on filmic, paper or textile carrier.

Double-sided foam adhesive tapes often replace more laborious types of connection, such as screws and soldering. Construction industry hase a huge demand for easy-to-work insulation materials — and low-weight tapes on Isolon 500 basis are also the right choice in this field. Thin Isolon 500 foam (up to 1 mm) with adhesive coating is used also in shoe, flexographic, automotive, do-it-yourself, manufacturing and medical industries.
